According to the statement of the Shanghai Oil and Natural Gas Exchange, the Chinese state oil and gas corporation China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) made the first transaction with settlements in yuan, selling liquefied natural gas (LNG) to the French company TotalEnergies.
