The extensive economic ties between these countries make their confrontation undesirable not only for themselves, but also for the whole world. The Xinhua news agency named the main conditions for the formation of productive ties between the two countries. Firstly, it is the importance of a proper understanding of China, the rejection of the «zero-sum game» mindset. In addition, it is necessary to increase and expand cooperation to stabilize relations. China also believes that the development of both countries can serve as opportunities, not challenges, and their economies complement each other more than they compete. Xi Jinping will visit San Francisco from November 14 to 17 to attend the APEC summit and hold the first talks in a year with US President Joe Biden.
