Крупный американский банк Wells Fargo, вслед за другими крупными банками страны, ввел запрет на использование своих кредитных карт для покупки криптовалют.

Представители банка отметили, что, несмотря на запрет, компания продолжит изучать этот вопрос и следить за развитием рынка криптовалют.

Ранее аналогичные запреты ввели другие крупные банки в Соединенных Штатах: JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America и Citigroup, входящие вместе с Wells Fargo в «большую четверку» американских банков.

Давление на криптовалютный рынок оказывают не только ограничительные меры со стороны крупных финансовых организаций. Во вторник, 12 апреля, цена биткоина упала более чем на 6% и торгуется возле отметки в $6500 после сообщений о взломе южнокорейской криптобиржи.
