China named the conditions for establishing relations with the United States

On the occasion of Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to the United States, the Chinese state agency Xinhua said that in order to improve relations with Beijing, Washington needs to develop an adequate perception of China. 

It is worth noting that recently there has been a tendency to strengthen cooperation between the two capitals. And despite the fact that the United States continues to restrict technological and economic cooperation, at the same time Washington is trying to establish communication with China through various channels, which indicates the search for a common language after years of confrontation.

Analysts believe that today China and the United States remain the two largest economies in the world and their relations are the most important bilateral relations in the world. The extensive economic ties between these countries make their confrontation undesirable not only for themselves, but also for the whole world.

The Xinhua news agency named the main conditions for the formation of productive ties between the two countries. Firstly, it is the importance of a proper understanding of China, the rejection of the «zero-sum game» mindset. In addition, it is necessary to increase and expand cooperation to stabilize relations. China also believes that the development of both countries can serve as opportunities, not challenges, and their economies complement each other more than they compete.

Xi Jinping will visit San Francisco from November 14 to 17 to attend the APEC summit and hold the first talks in a year with US President Joe Biden.
