Канцлер Германии призвала Европу объединится в связи с Brexit

В ответ на заявление Терезы Мэй, премьер-министра Великобритании, которая в начала неделе говорила о возможной реализации жесткого сценария выхода Великобритании из ЕС, Ангела Меркель призвала объединится страны Европейского Союза. 

Во время свого выступление Меркель подчеркнула, что на данный момент самое важное, это сохранение единства ЕС и предотвращение “раскола” Европы. Немаловажно также иметь представления о том, что планирует делать Британия и какие планы у Лондона относительно Брекзита. 

Речь канцлер ФРГ произнесла после заседания специального комитета при кабинете министров ФРГ по последствиям Brexit. В ходе заседания обсуждались вопросы, касаемые выхода Соединенного Королевства из состава ЕС. Детали заседания оглашаться не стали, так как по мнению официального представителя правительства ФРГ Ульрике Деммер, вопросы, касаемые выстраивания отношений с Великобританией после осуществления процедуры выхода из состава Европы, можно будет задать после того, как правительство Британии направит запрос о выходе из ЕС в Брюссель.
