Стоимость золота на мировых рынках достигла минимума с конца прошлого года на фоне сильных отчетов компаний и данных по рынку недвижимости США.

На торгах во вторник, 23 апреля, цена июньского фьючерса на золото на Нью-Йоркской товарной бирже упала до $1268,05 за унцию, минимума с декабря 2018 года.

Сильные квартальные отчеты американских компаний (Hasbro, Twitter, Coca-Cola) оказывают поддержку рисковым активам, усиливая давление на золото.

Кроме того, данные по рынку недвижимости США ослабили опасения по поводу замедления экономического роста. Продажи нового жилья в прошлом месяце увеличились на 4,5% до 692 тыс., максимума с ноября 2017 года, тогда как аналитики прогнозировали снижение показателя до 647 тыс.

По мнению большинства экспертов, рост аппетита к рисковым активам и усиление доллара США привели к снижению стоимости драгоценных металлов, которые традиционно выступают в качестве «убежища» для инвесторов.
