В начале недели курс юаня упал ниже ключевого уровня семь юаней за доллар, снизившись до минимальной отметки за 11 лет, на фоне обострения торговой войны Вашингтона и Пекина.

В конце прошлой недели президент США Дональд Трамп пообещал ввести 10% пошлины на китайские товары общим объемом $300 млрд после того, как Китай и США не смогли прийти к прогрессу в переговорах.

Ряд экспертов полагает, что китайский Центробанк позволил юаню пробить сильный психологический уровень, поскольку больше не верит в успех переговоров. Это может стать стартовой точкой для начала валютной войны – новый фазы в торговом противостоянии двух крупнейших экономик мира.
