Премьер-министр Великобритании Борис Джонсон приостановил работу парламента Соединенного Королевства. Период бездействия должен продлиться до 14 октября.

Многие члены парламента активно протестовали против данной инициативы Джонсона, так как приближается срок Brexit, а сделки с ЕС до сих пор нет.

Кроме того, продолжается судебное расследование легальности процедуры приостановки работы парламента, так как Джонсон, возможно, не следовал официальному порядку.

На прошлой неделе парламент Великобритании работал над тем, чтобы предотвратить сценарий «Брекзита» без сделки. Парламентариям удалось изменить закон так, что жесткий сценарий больше не является вариантом по умолчанию для 31 октября.

Теперь премьер-министру нужно либо договориться с представителями ЕС, либо получить большинство на голосовании в парламенте, чтобы вывести страну из состава Евросоюза.
