Специалисты «Лаборатории Касперского» посчитали, что в результате кибератак  на Initial Coin Offering  (ICO, первичное предложение новых криптовалют) хакеры украли более $300 млн в 2017 году.

По предварительной оценке, в текущем году более $3,5 млрд было привлечено в ходе различных ICO, при этом около $300 млн было похищены злоумышленниками, а количество пострадавших превысило 60 тыс. человек.

Киберпреступники использовали фишинговые атаки, создавали поддельные проекты, взламывали сайты, подменяли номеров счетов для перевода средств.

Аналитики прогнозируют, что в 2018 году количество хакерских атак на криптовалюты возрастет. Кроме того, будут активно взламываться приложения, игры и платформы, основанные на этой технологии.
