Популярная в Азии криптовалюта Ripple дорожает вопреки «медвежьим» настроениям, преобладающим сейчас на рынке криптовалют. Рост ее курса обусловлен выходом новостей о создании в Японии консорциума компаний в целях реализации проекта, связанного с применением технологии блокчейн (с участием Ripple) для оплаты кредитными картами.

Стоимость Ripple достигла исторического максимума – $1,63. Курс криптовалюты за ночь с четверга на пятницу вырос на 18,74%, а ее рыночная капитализация достигла $62 млрд. Ripple стала третьей по капитализации среди всех криптовалют, обогнав Bitcoin Cash.

Японская финансовая компания SBI Group совместно с другими компаниями, в том числе с филиалом Ripple, создает консорциум для реализации проекта по применению технологии блокчейн для платежных систем.
