Федеральная резервная система США на заседании 20 марта ожидаемо сохранила базовую ставку на прежнем уровне 2,25-2,5%.

При этом в центре внимания оказалось то, что чиновники регулятора отказались от планов повышения ставки в 2019 году из-за опасений о недостаточных темпах роста экономики страны.

Последние 3 года ФРС США последовательно ужесточает монетарную политику. В 2018 году было три повышения (на 0,25%). Предыдущие прогнозы предполагали также одно или два повышения в текущем.

В ходе вчерашних торгов индекс доллара США снизился до отметки 95,10, минимума с 1 февраля, но сегодня постепенно отыгрывает потери и, по состоянию на 14.00 мск, вырос до 95,66 (на 0,48%).
