Премьер-министр Британии Тереза Мэй обратилась к Европейскому совету с просьбой отложить Brexit до 30 июня. Причиной для дальнейшей задержки Мэй назвала переговоры с оппозиционной Лейбористской партией, направленные на выход из сложившейся тупиковой ситуации вокруг Brexit.

Как известно, в среду Палата общин Великобритании одобрила законопроект, который требует от Мэй добиться отсрочки Brexit, чтобы предотвратить беспорядочный выход из ЕС 12 апреля без сделки. Евросовет также рассматривает возможность «гибкой» отсрочки Brexit на 12 месяцев.
