Американская холдинговая компания Berkshire Hathaway, основанная знаменитым инвестором Уорреном Баффетом, приобрела акции интернет-ритейлера Amazon.

Баффет рассказал о покупке ценных бумаг в интервью телеканалу CNBC. По его словам, акции купил один из сотрудников Berkshire Hathaway, при этом миллиардер отметил, что сам давно является поклонником Amazon и гендиректора компании Джеффа Безоса. Размер сделки не уточняется.

В сентябре 2018 года рыночная капитализация Amazon превысила $1 трлн при стоимости $2050,5 за акцию. До Amazon таких показателей достигали только компьютерные гиганты Apple и Microsoft.
