Глава бостонского Федрезерва Эрик Розенгрен уверен, что экономические условия в США все еще хорошие, а политика смягчения может привести к наращиванию долга. Таким образом, политик высказался против дальнейшего снижения процентных ставок.

Смягчение монетарной политики может повлечь за собой серьезный спад экономики и оставить Федрезерву США слишком мало вариантов для использования дополнительных стимулов в случае реальной необходимости, считает Розенгрен.

Многие участники рынка ожидают еще одно снижение ставки на заседании ФРС в сентябре. А уже в эту пятницу дальнейшие планы американского регулятора озвучит его глава Джером Пауэлл.
