Planned Reduction of China’s Steel Sector in 2018

China aims to reduce its oversupply in the steel sector for next year according to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) Vice Chairman Ning JIzhe during a news discussion on Monday. They intend to lessen the quantity of steel by 50 million tons as well as the coal production greater than 150 million tons for the year following their state planner work report mentioned during the beginning of the annual parliament meeting.
