Председатель Европейской комиссии Жан-Клод Юнкер заявил, что Великобритании необходимо будет заплатить более $60 млрд за Brexit. Данная процедура не призвана наказать Великобританию за ее решение, ЕС лишь хочет удержать от подобного шага другие страны, заявил он в интервью ВВС. Точный размер суммы будет определен позже, после того, как будет проведена работа финансистов, сообщил также Юнкер.


Напомним, процесс выхода Великобритании из ЕС назначен на 29 марта. Вопрос о выплате денег за выход из ЕС будет одной из важнейших тем для обсуждения. Британская сторона считает, что данная сумма является “абсурдной”, а министр внешней торговли Лиам Фокс рассматривает идею о том, что страна может уйти, не заплатив ничего.
