Курс британского фунта стерлингов снизился на 1,5–2% после оглашения результатов выборов в нижнюю палату Парламента.

Британский Фунт против доллара США торгуется у минимумов с 18 апреля текущего года, фондовый рынок страны практически не пострадал.

В результате выборов Консервативная партия потеряла 17 мест в Парламенте, вместо того, чтобы усилить свои позиции.

Несмотря на неожиданные результаты голосования, снижение достаточно незначительное. Например, после референдума о выходе Британии из ЕС национальная валюта потеряла 6% стоимости, достигнув минимумов 1985 года.
