Франция и Германия намерены обсудить регулирование криптовалют на саммите G20

Министры финансов и главы центробанков двух крупнейших экономик Европы – Германии и Франции – предложили внести в повестку ближайшего саммита «Большой двадцатки» вопрос о регулировании криптовалют.

Чиновники полагают, что «токены и стоящие за ними технологии несут в себе новые возможности». Кроме того, они предостерегают, что криптовалюты представляют высокие риски для инвесторов и открывают возможности для финансовых преступлений. 

Ранее министр экономики и финансов Франции Брюно Ле Мэр заявлял, что Франция и Германия внесут предложения по регулированию криптовалют на ближайшем саммите «Большой двадцатки» в Аргентине. Его поддержали глава Банка Франции Франсуа Вильруа де Гало, министр финансов ФРГ Петер Альтмайер и глава Центробанка Германии Йенс Вайдманн.
