• On the evening of March 22, a terrorist attack took place in the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, near Moscow. Armed men opened fire before the start of the performance of the group «Picnic», after which a fire started. UPD today: the death toll reached 137 people, four terrorists were arrested by the court, the damage to Crocus City Hall is estimated at 9.5-11.4 billion rubles. 

• France has increased security measures to the maximum level after the terrorist attack in Russia. The decision was made during a session of the National Defense and Security Council under the leadership of President Emmanuel Macron.

• Elon Musk announced his decision not to support the Democratic Party in the upcoming US presidential elections, expressing his preference for Republicans. In his message on the social network "X", the businessman noted: «I voted 100% Dem until a few years ago. Now, I think we need a red wave or America is toast.»

• In search of alternatives to Russian wood, the European Union has turned its attention to imports from the United States and Turkey. Timber exports from the USA to the EU increased one and a half times compared to 2021, reaching $1.3 billion and putting the country in the third position among the main suppliers. Turkey doubled its exports to $440 million.

• Russian oil companies were able to avoid reducing the volume of gasoline supplies to the domestic market, despite drone attacks on factories. The measures taken made it possible to maintain a stable level of oil refining, which was reduced by only 0.5% by February, minimizing the risk of fuel shortages in the country.
