Джонсон представит план новой сделки по Brexit

Сегодня премьер-министр Соединенного Королевства Борис Джонсон выступит на ежегодной конференции Консервативной партии, где, как ожидается, раскроет подробности своего предложения Евросоюзу относительно Brexit.

Согласно опубликованной утечке, план Джонсона включает в себя многочисленные таможенные проверки между Ирландией и Северной Ирландией, которые будут осуществляться вдали от физической границы.

Представители Республики Ирландия критиковали это предложение, так как она означает создание жесткой границы и нарушает предыдущее соглашение. Джонсон отрицает достоверность утечек.

До сих пор представители ЕС заявляли, что не получали ничего, что должным образом решает вопрос об ирландской границе. Любое новое соглашение должно быть одобрено всеми государствами ЕС и, если оно нарушит соглашение Страстной пятницы, то Ирландия его заблокирует.

Джонсон по-прежнему настаивает на том, что, если ему не удастся добиться новой сделки к 17 октября, он выведет Великобританию из состава ЕС без сделки.
