По последним данным эпидемия Covid-19 в Китае, возможно, наконец-то находится под контролем или, по крайней мере, приближается к этому состоянию. Новых инфицированных пациентов стало меньше, кроме того, в правительстве намекнули, что могут реализовать больше стимулирующих мер для поддержки экономики и смягчения ущерба, нанесенного вспышкой вируса.

Рынки с оптимизмом приветствовали эту новость: фондовые индексы выросли в Европе, Японии и США. Однако китайские акции сопротивляются общему воодушевлению, поскольку многие предприятия и заводы в стране остаются на ограниченных мощностях, чтобы избежать дальнейшего распространения болезни.

На рынке сырой нефти сегодня наблюдается скромное восстановление. США внесли российскую «Роснефть» в черный список из-за обвинений в связях с правительством Венесуэлы. США оказывают давление на Венесуэлу, потому что хотят, чтобы Мадуро ушел с поста президента, а в стране были организованы демократические выборы. Для этого США закрывает Венесуэле все каналы продаж «черного золота», что приводит страну в состояние глубокого экономического кризиса. 

Новые санкции компенсировали снижение спроса со стороны Китая, подтолкнув вверх нефтяные котировки. Сегодня нефть марки Brent достигла отметки $58,26 за баррель, тогда как WTI торгуется возле $52,60.
