For the period from January to November 2023, Russia continues to be the leader in oil supplies to China, according to data published by the General Customs Administration of the People's Republic of China. During this period, 97.46 million tons of oil were delivered for a total amount of $55.018 billion. This indicator shows an increase in the volume of supplies by 22.17% compared to the same period last year, when China purchased 79.77 million tons of oil in Russia for $54.684 billion. Saudi Arabia ranks second in terms of oil supplies to China in January-November, with shipments of 79.97 million tons worth $50 billion. Iraq is in third place with supplies of 54.12 million tons worth $32 billion. In total, by the end of 2022, China purchased 86.2 million tons of oil in Russia for $58.5 billion. These data indicate the continued high activity in trade relations between the Russian Federation and China in the field of oil supplies, confirming Russia's steady leadership in this market.
