Despite this, Trump continued to defend his approach to reforming the world's largest economy. He also stressed that the expected price increase associated with the new tariff policy can be considered only a «minor turbulent moment» that the United States is able to successfully cope with. Trump expressed confidence that the tariffs imposed would help restore America to its former wealth and greatness. According to him, the results of this process are already noticeable, and soon they will become even more significant. «We are facing minor difficulties, but this is not significant and does not cause concern,» the president noted.
