The United States intends to ease some of the trade restrictions against China, as reported by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China. This decision is related to the signing of a new trade agreement between the two countries, which was previously confirmed by Donald Trump during a speech at the White House. A statement released by China Central Television said Beijing would review and approve exports of controlled goods if they comply with legal regulations. In response, Washington will cancel a number of measures previously imposed against China. China expressed hope for strengthening mutual understanding and cooperation with the United States for the stable development of trade relations. Both sides stressed the importance of sustainable economic cooperation. Trump noted that the agreement is already ready and is awaiting final approval by the leaders of the two countries. According to its terms, China undertakes to supply rare earth metals and natural resources to the United States in advance. In response, the American side fulfilled its obligations, including facilitating the admission of Chinese students to US universities.
