The bank's report highlights that long-term trends such as the transition to renewable energy sources, sustainable use of ocean resources and addressing freshwater scarcity provide opportunities for high-quality investments with growth potential. UBS identifies international companies working in the field of «green» technologies and the development of renewable energy infrastructure, as well as enterprises engaged in wastewater treatment and pollution reduction technologies. These industries can benefit from a growing environmental awareness. The problem of lack of fresh water is also attracting the attention of UBS. Analysts predict further growth in markets related to solving this problem from the current level of $655 billion.
