On Friday, the second most valuable cryptocurrency, ethereum, rose sharply from the level of $2,005 to the level of $2,127, increasing by a little more than 10% during the day. Such growth rates have become the fastest one-day percentage increase since November 10, 2022. Thanks to this jump, the cryptocurrency has increased its market capitalization to $253.25 billion, or 19.85% of the total market capitalization. At its peak, the market capitalization of ether was $569.58 billion. Over the past week, the value of Ethereum has increased by 12.03%. During this period, it was trading in the range of $1,825,6034 to $2,108,7979. At the current value, Ethereum is still 56.65% behind its historical maximum of $4864.06, set on November 10, 2021. Other popular cryptocurrencies are also showing growth at the end of the trading week. Bitcoin rose to the level of $30,968, Tether – to $1,0011. Last time, the market capitalization of BTC was $595.05 billion, or 46.65% of the total market capitalization of the cryptocurrency, and the market capitalization of Tether was $80.84 billion, or 6.34% of the total market value of the cryptocurrency.
