President of Russia, Vladimir Putin pronounced that the recent ice melting and global warming in Arctic seems favorable for the polar region intended for the economy. Putin has spoken in an Arctic forum held in the Arkhangelsk City, the shipments and energy plans of the Russian Federation were established under the principle of not harming the environment. Moreover, the 64-year old Russian leader have watched a video link about an ice-class tanker docked at the port of Sabetta that tested the route enabling the ships to transport liquefied natural gas (LNG) and oil. Energy firms already anticipated about this route, particularly in developing resources within the area, however, they encountered difficulties in gaining gas and oil from these distant and freezing markets. On one side, environmental activists were concerned about this commercial shipping since the climate change caused the ice to become thinner which will further result in abuse of the region’s pure state.
