The Italian manufacturer Automobili Lamborghini intends to convert the entire line of its supercars to a hybrid format within the next two to three years, and by 2030 – to launch a completely unique model of an electric car. This was stated by the president and chairman of the Management Board of the company Stefan Winkelman. According to Winkelman, the level of sales of Lamborghini last year allows us to conclude that orders cover a decent part of what the company will produce in 2022. In mid-January, the company reported record sales for 2021 in Russia (+48% by 2020) and the world (+13%). In total, 8405 new Lamborghini cars found their buyers. The head of the automaker also said that in the coming years the company plans to transfer the entire line of cars to hybrid power plants. This is necessary in order to keep up with increasingly stringent legislation and to meet the needs of the company's customers. And at the end of the decade, Lamborghini should have an all-electric car. The new electric car will be a sport utility vehicle in the form of a two-door coupe (Suv Coupe GT). It will be designed for 4 seats, have a high clearance and moderate dimensions to become a car for every day.
