• Biden acknowledged that Ukraine's ability to attack Russia using Western weapons could exacerbate the conflict. At the same time, the American president considers this unlikely. Earlier, Biden gave the go-ahead for the «targeted and limited» use of American weapons for strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation.

• The shortage of eggs in Russia may soon come to naught: Iran, Vietnam and Thailand have applied to the Rosselkhoznadzor with a request to start egg supplies. As of June 6, Russia imported approximately 400 million eggs, of which about 330 million were supplied from Belarus. Other supplies have been carried out from Azerbaijan and Turkey since the end of last year. 

• The United States plans to announce the introduction of a «more aggressive strategy» to control nuclear weapons. It is expected that the new policy will be aimed at stricter compliance with international standards in the field of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and will include changes in plans for their deployment and quantity.

• Boeing has successfully delivered astronauts to the ISS. This happened with the help of the Starliner spacecraft, which was a significant achievement for the company after a series of troubles with their airliners. Despite the fact that the launch was carried out on the third attempt, the mission was successful, and the astronauts, whose training took five years, safely reached the ISS.

• Every fifth seller on the Ozon platform is now Chinese. In 2023, the number of Chinese sellers reached about 100,000 out of a total of 500,000, accounting for more than 90% of the volume of cross-border trade on Ozon. These sellers often use price dumping to attract buyers.
