Virgin Group chce získat 900 milionů dolarů na nabídku železniční dopravy, říká společnost

(Reuters) – Společnost Virgin Group britského miliardáře Richarda Bransona hodlá získat 700 milionů liber (900 milionů dolarů) na financování svého plánu spustit železniční dopravu přes kanál a konkurovat tak společnosti Eurostar, uvedla společnost v neděli.

Společnost Virgin, která v Británii provozovala meziměstské vlakové spoje, plánuje zahájit služby, které by spojily Londýn s Paříží a Bruselem. V budoucnu by se měly rozšířit také do Amsterdamu.

Virgin Group hodlá získat 300 milionů liber ve vlastním kapitálu a 400 milionů liber v dluhu, uvedla společnost pro agenturu Reuters a potvrdila tak zprávu listu Financial Times, který o tom informoval jako první.

Plánuje být také základním kapitálovým investorem projektu.
