Bankovní gigant Morgan Stanley se ve snaze o kontrolu nákladů chystá ještě tento měsíc zrušit přibližně 2 000 pracovních míst, uvedla agentura Bloomberg. Jedná se o první významné snížení počtu zaměstnanců pod vedením generálního ředitele Teda Picka.
Plánované propouštění se dotkne různých sektorů firmy, výjimkou bude zejména 15 000 finančních poradců, jak uvádějí zasvěcené osoby blízké této záležitosti. Rozhodnutí o snížení počtu zaměstnanců bylo přijato před nedávnými výkyvy na trhu.
Tento strategický krok banky se sídlem v New Yorku je reakcí na minimální fluktuaci zaměstnanců v jejích řadách. Zástupce Morgan Stanley odmítl tuto záležitost komentovat. Banka, která v současné době zaměstnává přibližně 80 000 osob, provádí tyto škrty v rámci řízení nákladů.
