Cena ropy klesá o téměř 2 % po Trumpově návrhu 50% cla na EU

Ceny ropy se v pátek propadly téměř o 2 % a směřují k prvnímu týdennímu poklesu za poslední tři týdny poté, co americký prezident Donald Trump navrhl zavedení 50% cla na zboží z Evropské unie.

Futures na ropu Brent klesly o 1,03 USD (−1,6 %) na 63,41 USD za barel, zatímco americká lehká ropa WTI ztratila 1,07 USD (−1,8 %) a obchodovala se za 60,13 USD.

Ceny ropy klesaly již čtvrtý den v řadě, a to kvůli očekávání zvýšení produkce ze strany skupiny OPEC+ v nadcházejících měsících.

Prezident Trump v pátek prohlásil, že doporučuje zavedení 50% cla na zboží z EU s platností od 1. června, s tím, že EU je při obchodním vyjednávání obtížným partnerem.
