The newly minted head of the company said that the decision to resign will be made in full accordance with the results of the vote. 17.5 million people took part in the survey, which was opened on the billionaire's page. And the answer «Yes» is confidently leading – 57.5% of users clicked on it. 42.5% of respondents voted «against» Musk's departure. Elon Musk promised that he will hold similar votes in the future – they will concern serious changes in the company's policy. Recall that after Musk bought the Twitter social network, he was hit by a barrage of criticism: both for firing employees who were engaged in internal censorship of the social network, and for unblocking user accounts like Donald Trump and Kanye West. Also, users did not like technological innovations – like an experiment with a blue tick. In addition, it is worth noting that Tesla investors are calling on the head of the electric car manufacturer to distract from Twitter and pay attention to his own car company, whose shares are currently showing a rapid decline.
