• A loophole for settlements with China is closing – the UAE has begun to refuse to conduct Russian transactions. Russian importers previously used the UAE's infrastructure to pay for Chinese electronics, but now the Emirates block operations if the paid goods do not arrive directly in the UAE.

• A new charge has been filed against Donald Trump. An indictment has been sent to the court regarding his attempts to prevent the approval of the results of the 2020 presidential election. In fact, it is a repeat of a case that is already being considered in Washington, but taking into account Trump's partial immunity from criminal prosecution.

• The demand for Schengen visas among Russians has increased dramatically. According to Kommersant, most Russian citizens receive short-term visas. In 2024, 72% of visa applicants to Italy, 78% to Spain, 59% to France, and 77% to Greece received permits for up to six months.
