Директор-распорядитель МВФ Кристин Лагард считает, что Европейскому центральному банку следует продолжать курс аккомодационной фискальной политики, поскольку экономике еврозоны в ближайшее время предстоит столкнуться с трудностями.

Выступая в комитете Европарламента по экономическим вопросам, Лагард заявила, что ЕЦБ следует также обращать внимание на побочные эффекты от нетрадиционных мер для стимулирования экономического роста, отметив при этом необходимость их применения в текущих условиях.

Ранее Лагард была выдвинута на пост председателя ЕЦБ и, скорее всего, 1 ноября 2019 года сменит в должности нынешнего главу европейского регулятора Марио Драги.
