В конце прошлой недели фунт стерлингов подорожал после того как премьер-министр Великобритании Борис Джонсон и его ирландский коллега Лео Варадкар заявили, что видят путь к соглашению по Brexit.

Фунт продемонстрировал крупнейший двухдневный рост более чем за три года, поскольку положительный исход по Brexit снимает неопределенность, нависшую над экономикой.

При этом председателем Европейского совета Дональд Туск дал понять, что время идет, а никаких гарантий по сделке нет. 

Кроме того, остается неясным какие компромиссы по ирландскому пограничному вопросу были достигнуты, однако инвесторы надеются на дальнейший прогресс переговоров на саммите ЕС 17-18 октября.
