Согласно данным Министерства труда США, американская экономика продемонстрировала меньший прирост новых рабочих мест вне сельскохозяйственного сектора (Nonfarm Payrolls).

Количество новых рабочих мест выросло лишь на 145 тыс в декабре, в то время как аналитики ожидали увеличения показателя на 164 тыс.

Уровень безработицы остался стабильным на уровне 3,5%, как и прогнозировалось. Средняя почасовая заработная плата за месяц выросла на 0,1% по сравнению с ожиданиями роста на 0,3%.
