На этой неделе президент Европейского центрального банка Кристин Лагард провела серию выступлений во Франкфурте, Париже и Брюсселе, рассказав о планах регулятора.

Сейчас кредитно-денежная политика ЕЦБ является одной из самых мягких в мире, поэтому возможности для дальнейшего снижения ставок сильно ограничены. При этом последние фундаментальные отчеты, а также данные о росте ВВП и темпах инфляции показывают, что экономика еврозоны не растет желаемыми темпами.

Лагард заявила, что ЕЦБ не может себе позволить усиливать меры экономической поддержки. Скорее всего, глава ЕЦБ направит свои усилия на то, чтобы побудить богатые страны еврозоны (Германию, Францию, Нидерланды) самостоятельно финансировать стимулирующие программы из профицита бюджета.
