Several high-ranking officials of the US National Security Council will be testifying before a Senate committee during Wednesday’s session, wherein the committee is expected to discuss a number of high-profile cases, including Donald Trump’s abrupt sacking of now-ex FBI Director James Comey and Russia’s alleged involvement in the presidential elections last 2016. This hearing is a precedent to the much-awaited press conference from James Comey on Thursday, with some testifying officials identified as National Intelligence Director Daniel Coats, Director for the National Security Agency Michael Rogers, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, and FBI Acting Director Andrew McCabe.
